Don't see red, but men apparently find black lingerie the sexiest

It's really quite frightening what passes for news these days, but here's the results of yet another survey which claims to know what "Britain's men" think.

According to an online poll by a cleaning products website, 56% of men said that red is their least favourite lingerie colour while 47% of blokes said black underwear was their favourite.

Apparently this will come as a shock to the fairer sex because 61% of the women surveyed buy red lingerie because that's what they think their men would choose.

Although our number one choice for 2010 was the truly beautiful Cassandra Underwired Bow Bra and matching knicker in red, eight of our top ten choices this year were in fact black - like the Ponytail lingerie collection by Agent Provocateur (pictured).
