La Perla was created in 1954 by skilled Italian corset maker Ada Masotti. From her small workshop in Bologna, a town renowned for its silk factories and textile manufacturers, she created works of art and presented them in velvet lined boxes as if they were precious jewels. Hence the name La Perla.

This is a luxury brand. The fabrics and laces are exquisitely crafted into feminine underwear that includes bras, briefs, bustiers, slips, bodysuits and shapewear. La Perla also have a nightwear range, loungewear, beachwear and accessories. Bra sizes range from 32A - 40E.
